2014 – Blackboard VLE

Best practice in UK is for all courses to have 100% coverage and dissemination via Blackboard VLE (or equivalent) – without exception.

2014 – I developed the Industrial Design ‘Portal’ – a generic, non-semester / non-class based portal that consolidated all the materials I could find that related to the Industrial Design programme at the University of Kansas.

This included:

• All faculty information – contact info etc
• Bibliography – a refreshed bibliography of books suitable for ID students
• Videography – tutorials / videos that support the learning experience
• News Feeds
• Gallery of student work
• All students provided access
• Electronic notice board
